A route not to be missed: from Orio to Getaria, passing through Zarautz, and if you have time, I invite you to discover the charm of Zumaia.
We will begin our trip in Orio, a picturesque coastal town located in the region of Urola Kosta, in the province of Guipúzcoa. Here you can prepare for the route by enjoying a quiet morning strolling through its charming streets before getting on your bike.
The N – 634 road is a perfect option for this trip. Being a pleasant road to ride a scooter, it will not only allow us to enjoy the pleasure of driving, but it will also bring us closer to these famous coastal towns, each with its own essence and attractions.
Our first stop will be in Zarautz, a paradise for surf lovers. In addition to its famous beach, the old town and its magnificent restaurants are a must-see. You can take the opportunity to try the local gastronomy in one of the many pintxo bars that you will find along the way.
We continue to Getaria, a fishing village known for its txakoli vineyards and for being the birthplace of the famous sailor Juan Sebastian Elcano. Here you can relax on its beautiful beach and enjoy the flavors of the sea in its restaurants.
If you have time, I recommend you to visit the next coastal town, Zumaia. Here you will find the famous Flysch route, a beautiful trail that starts from the Ermita de San Telmo. In this trek, you will be fascinated by the majesty of its cliffs and the breathtaking views of the sea.
This motorcycle route along the N – 634 offers you a route full of natural beauty, tradition, culture and the best gastronomy of the Basque Country. So get your helmet ready, get on your scooter and embark on this adventure. Unforgettable days on the road await you.
